I don’t know why, maybe because I’m a huge fan of sniper movies like Shooter and to some extent even Jack Reacher, Hitman, etc, I really enjoy playing sniper game apps on Android. Good thing for me is that there’s lots of them available in the Play Store. What really makes a game great are sensor controls. In case of sniper games, what I’m interested in are g-sensor aiming controls, in other words g-sensor controlled sniper games for Android are awesome and Sniper Army is exactly that.

G-sensor controlled sniper game for Android – Sniper Army

If you can’t be bothered reading all the boring text down below, here’s a list of things that I like about Sniper Army:

  • It’s very small in size – around 5MB in size
  • Not a very hardware demanding game
  • Has two game modes: Story and Endless
  • Utilizes g-sensors to control the aim
  • Is very addicting – it’s madly addicting
  • Boring text starts now. 🙂 Even before discovering that Sniper Army has g-sensor controls, what I really liked about the game is that it’s only 5MB in size. This makes it the perfect choice for gamers that don’t have a lot of space on their devices but are interested in some casual sniper gaming.

Small app size also means that you don’t need to have super advanced hardware to play the game. Everything will work even on older devices with less impressive CPUs and GPUs. Image above shows the main menu. Two game modes are available, Story and Endless. In story mode you play the role of a sniper hitman that needs to get rid of targets all over the world, the usual. Endless is where you pick a level (a location) and the bad guys keep on showing up until you can no longer fight them off, again the usual.

Game isn’t demanding when it comes to storage space and graphics, so it’s no surprise that you don’t get super advanced cool looking 3D effects. Some might take this as a drawback, but this game doesn’t play the “amazing looking graphics card”. Level 1 or mission 1 can be seen on the screenshot above. Bad guys can appear almost anywhere. Notice on the image above that it’s located all the way to the right at the end of the chopper. To open up the sniper sights tap somewhere as close to the bad guy as you can.

Tap on the screen switches the camera view to the sniper scopes. Here is where g-sensor controls kick in. You need to tilt your phone up, down and lean backwards, forwards to adjust the aim. Tap on the circle on the left will slow down the aim, and tap on the circle on the right will fire the bullet. Tap anywhere else to exist the scope mode.

    My thoughts and download

Army Sniper is, at least in my humble opinion, a very fun, lightweight and easy to play sniper game. I seriously like the g-sensor controls for aiming that it has. These make the game difficult, but just the right amount difficult. Try this sniper game and make sure to type a comment down below telling me what you think about the game and if you might have a suggestions.
