Keeping weight down or loosing weight for that matter is not an easy task. One of the things that might help is for you to keep track of your daily calorie intake and also the amount of daily calories burned. With Daily Calorie Counter, which is a free Android calorie counter app, you can do just that and much more.
From the main menu of the Daily Calorie Counter, which can be seen on the screenshot above, you can see that this Android calorie counter app has a lot to offer. First notice that profiles can be created. Tracker option is the calorie counter, but it’s not just a calorie counter, you also get exercise tracking, which allows you to keep track of both calories that you’ve consumed and calories that you’ve burned.
We’ll get right down to it. Tap on the Tracker option from the main menu. If you want, before that you can open up Profiles and create a profile for yourself. Once you’re inside the tracker, there should be two buttons, “Add new Food” and “Add new Exercise”. Click on one, depending on what you would like to add to this free Android calorie counter app.
Great thing about Daily Calorie Counter is that it comes with a very large database of several thousand different foods and exercises which you can easily select and add to your calorie intake logs. Each food and exercise has detailed info about the number of calories, proteins, fat, and all the other information about nutritional value. There’s a nifty search tool for quickly finding food items that you need, see image above. Same thing goes for exercises.
If you’re creating your own meals or exercises, you can add them to the database of Daily Calorie Counter. To do that, to add new foods and exercises you’re gonna have to click on Managing from the main menu. Type in the meal (or exercise) name, measure, calorie, fats and all the other nutritional info. Once you’ve done that, next time you just have to use the search tool inside the Tracker in order to find the added meal/exercise so you can add it to your daily calorie intake/expenditure log.
Last thing that we’re gonna be showing you are the stats. They can of course be accessed by clicking on Statistics from the main menu. There you get a detailed report about your daily calorie intake, exercises, nutritional analysis of your eating habits, graphs and more.
This free Android calorie counter app is very easy to use and has a lot more to offer than what I’ve mentioned here. For a free app, it comes with a surprising amount of features.
