Like I’ve already mentioned when talking about Auto Cache Cleaner, Task Manager and FLUSH, making sure that you keep the app cache of your Android devices (tablets and smartphones) clean and optimized is important not only for maintaining performance, but also for prolonging battery life. Being low of storage space is never a good thing, regardless of the operating system, so today I’m gonna talk about yet another Android cache cleaner called App Cache Cleaner, shockingly original name, don’t you think?
Let’s get right down to business shall we. Just like the three Android cache cleaners that I talked about before, App Cache Cleaner is also very simple to use. Immediately after running it, you’re gonna see a list of all the apps that you have installed, which have cached files. On the right next to app names you’ll see the amount of MB that they have taken up. All the way at the top you’re presented with storage info, how much is used and how much available.
There are menus at both bottom of the interface and above it. Those who do not care what’s gonna be deleted and would just like to get rid of the entire app cache should tap on the Clear All button from the bottom toolbar after which the entire cache, of all the apps, will be deleted at once. This free Android cache cleaner also supports selective cache cleaning (deleting cache of only some apps, apps that you select from the list) that’s what the icon in the bottom left corner is for.
For individual app cache cleaning with App Cache Cleaner, you just have to tap on the app name from the main list. After you do that, you’ll be brought to the built-in App Info window that Android has. Cache can be deleted by clicking on either Clear Data or Clear Cache. Clear Data would be for removing login info, in case of web browser for example. To clean out everything, both buttons have to be clicked.
This free Android cache cleaner has a bunch of other useful features that I haven’t mentioned. Like for example automatic cache cleaning every 1, 4, 8, 12 or 24 hours. You might have missed it from the main menu, but a search tool is also available for finding apps more easily on the list. All in all, App Cache Cleaner is a great way how you can clean out your app cache. Easy to use and free, the perfect combo.;)
